Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Of Morrow is experiencing rapid growth!

We are looking to add friendly and motivated telephone agents to our Business Development Team, which handles inbound calls and Internet leads. In this position, you will answer customers' questions about vehicle prices, availability, financing, and more with the goal of scheduling an appointment for them to meet with our dealership's sales team.

The job includes gaining some product knowledge and phone training, logging notes/communication in a lead management tool, relentless telephone follow-up, tracking appointments, and reporting results.

Requirements

  • Respond to all incoming Internet leads via telephone, email, and text in a quick and professional manner
  • Make a HIGH volume of outbound phone calls to potential customers
  • Enter notes and communications into the CRM while you are talking with customers
  • Work with the Internet Sales Manager to ensure individual goals are met
  • Support fellow BDC representatives, displaying a genuine "TEAM" spirit each day!
  • Strive to meet and/or exceed goals and performance expectations
  • Respond to leads within 5-10 minutes of receiving them in the CRM
  • Respond to inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner
  • Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Follow dealership lead handling processes
  • Have an excellent record of attendance

Auto Dealership Sales Manager Experience is Required

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a sales team to create an experience for customers
  • Interacting daily with Customers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, Financial Services Manager and support staff
  • Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used internet and telephone sales
  • Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes
  • Ensuring that internet leads are handled timely, answering questions, providing information and ideally setting an appointment for a visit to the store
  • Oversee and participate in the follow-up with internet leads to assist them as needed through their research phase until ready for a vehicle purchase
  • Ensure Customers are transitioned effectively from phone and internet contact to their in-store experience
  • Managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
  • Managing all three areas of customer traffic: Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phones
  • Analyzing the e-Commerce business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance

Internet Sales Manager

The Internet Sales Manager will interact with hundreds of customers – via chat/email/text, over the phone, in-person, and online – building rapport and guiding customers with the goal of scheduling them to come to the dealership to meet with a sales professional.

Responsibilities

  • You will oversee a team of automotive sales professionals, having outlined an effective lead management process, including telephone up and chat handling.
  • You will ensure that all leads are responded to in a timely fashion, that customers' questions get answered, and that they get the information they request.
  • You will train salespeople on how to ask the right questions via text, email, chat and over the phone, while listening to the customer's needs and wants – with the end goal of setting sales appointments for an exceptional in-store experience.
  • The Internet Sales Manager will ensure that salespeople aggressively follow-up with unsold showroom traffic, telephone ups, internet leads, chats, and service upgrade opportunities.
  • You will track Internet lead and telephone-up performance with detail and accuracy, so that all opportunities are maximized.
  • You will ensure that the CRM is fully utilized, with detailed, accurate call logging and notes.
  • You will oversee Internet sales professionals' prospecting activities, while training and coaching.
  • You will produce Internet lead performance reports and achieve targeted benchmarks for appointments set, appointments shown, appointments confirmed, and lead source closing rates.
  • You will listen to telephone calls and coach salespeople on proper word tracts, designed to maximize the number of customers that commit to an appointment and show up at the dealership.
  • You will not hesitate to pick up the phone and speak with a customer directly and to confirm scheduled appointments.
